Pool / Hurricane Update: 10/07/24
Dear Highland Meadows II CDD Residents,
Due to the impending arrival of Hurricane Milton on Wednesday as a major storm ... and the increasing winds and rain we expect to receive prior to its arrival, the pool is closed until the storm passes and any cleanup efforts are attended to. Please check this site for updates as they occur.
In this time of need and emergency due to the past Hurricane Helene and upcoming Hurricane Milton, the CDD has secured a vendor to pick up fencing damaged due to Hurricane Helene. However, we are requesting your cooperation and understanding, since this is a back-to-back hurricane scenario.
We need your help in taking and sending photographs of CDD damaged fencing in order to make this process more expeditious and efficient. This is an emergency, and it requires a community effort.
Please make sure that the photos are dated and, in your emails, please list the address. This will allow us to document all the damage. Again, we have scheduled a vendor to our community to pick the damage fencing and your help is invaluable in this task.
Also, after Hurricane Milton, we will need further assessment of damages to the CDD property. We will keep you informed of this process.
Please follow the recommendations of the emergency management and stay safe during this crisis.
The photographs can be sent to [email protected] and please put “Highland Meadows II CDD – Hurricanes Helene and Milton Damage” in the subject line.
Thank you, and stay safe.

Please note that the CDD does not collect any fees from towing – our goal is, as always, to work together for the safety of the community and the protection of your investment.

Updated August 20, 2024
Dear Highland Meadows II CDD Residents,
In its continuing efforts to serve your needs, The Highland Meadows II CDD has partnered with a new Security Team, JCS, which started on Thursday, August 15. JCS will be providing security services to the pool and amenities areas, and will additionally, for at least the next month, be roving the community and stickering vehicles that are parked illegally, which includes vehicles that are parked on the sidewalks. The stickering is provided as a service to remind you to move your vehicle BEFORE it gets towed.
Please note that vehicles that park on the sidewalks will be towed, as per the approved CDD Parking and Towing Rules that are located on the CDD website, as well as vehicles parked on the street that have been abandoned, have expired or no registration sticker or license plate, or that have not been moved in over two weeks.
We are also preparing to start marking and painting the curbing in the community to denote areas that are too close to curves, mailboxes, and STOP signs for parking, was well as addressing the road and street signs throughout the community, in an effort to ensure a safer commute for all.
Thank you,
Your CDD Management Team
