Security and Towing Updates

Updated September 3, 2024

Dear Highland Meadows II CDD Residents,

As previously noted via email from your HOA Managers and on the CDD website below, the CDD has partnered with a new security vendor to provide security services to the community, and those include roving the community and tagging cars that in violation of the parking and towing rules in the community, including blocking sidewalks, cars on the street with expired tags, and leaving abandoned cars on the street.

This is to advise that after a two-week period of warnings, we will now begin having vehicles towed that are violating these rules, beginning immediately.

Please note that the CDD does not collect any fees from towing – our goal is, as always, to work together for the safety of the community and the protection of your investment.

Please drive and park carefully.

Thank you,
Your CDD Management Team

Updated August 20, 2024

Dear Highland Meadows II CDD Residents,

In its continuing efforts to serve your needs, The Highland Meadows II CDD has partnered with a new Security Team, JCS, which started on Thursday, August 15. JCS will be providing security services to the pool and amenities areas, and will additionally, for at least the next month, be roving the community and stickering vehicles that are parked illegally, which includes vehicles that are parked on the sidewalks. The stickering is provided as a service to remind you to move your vehicle BEFORE it gets towed.

Please note that vehicles that park on the sidewalks will be towed, as per the approved CDD Parking and Towing Rules that are located on the CDD website, as well as vehicles parked on the street that have been abandoned, have expired or no registration sticker or license plate, or that have not been moved in over two weeks.

We are also preparing to start marking and painting the curbing in the community to denote areas that are too close to curves, mailboxes, and STOP signs for parking, was well as addressing the road and street signs throughout the community, in an effort to ensure a safer commute for all.

Thank you,
Your CDD Management Team

Pool Update: 9/3/24

Highland Meadows II CDD Residents,

We continue to await the arrival and installation of the flow pumps.  Once those are installed, we will have the pool re-inspected by the Health Department in order to re-open.

8/29/2024

Highland Meadows II CDD Residents,

The pool has been temporarily closed by the Florida Health Department. We are now in the process of cleaning the flow metering system and replacing the flow pumps that were discovered, when cleaning the system, to have been burned out.

Once complete, we will schedule the Health Department to reinspect the pool to have it reopened as soon as possible.

We thank you for your patience.

Please check this website for updates as they occur.

Thank you,
Your CDD Management Team
